Cindy Jaswal / Artist
Cindy Jaswal is an Indo-Canadian Artist born and raised on Vancouver Island on the West Coast of British Columbia.
Fully immersed in nature, she is continually inspired by the wild and rugged places where the land and trees meet the sea around her.
Her work is a long meditation and exploration on the natural world with the forest, sea, and meadows all having an influence on her and what it means to be in this place.
Cindy has exhibited in the US, UK, and Canada. She has been commissioned by Patagonia, Seva International and donated artwork to BC Children’s Hospital Fundraisers. She received degrees in Fine Art from Emily Carr University in Vancouver and in Midwifery from Bastyr University in Seattle.
